ENDOW—SUMMER WOMEN’S STUDY
ON THE NEW FEMINISM
Join us this Summer at St. Edward the confessor Catholic
church, Monday evenings from 7—9 P.M. next meeting is
July 30th in the Parish Room
ENDOW (Educating on the Nature and Dignity of
Women) As a Catholic educational program, Endow
brings women together to discover their God-given dignity
and to understand their role in humanizing and
transforming society. This will be a small study group
format to cultivate faith, fellowship and formation.

Wednesday for 1 hour at 1:00 P.M. in the church cry
room to help live out our call to holiness in the midst of
the very real challenges of family life today.
THE ADORATION SOCIETY INVITES YOU
To make a special commitment to come and spend
one hour a month (or every other week) as a People
of God on the 1 st . and/or 3 rd . Mondays of the
month.
To come and worship with our Eucharistic Lord in
the Exposed Blessed Sacrament during our 24-hour
Adoration.
To pray at a consistent hour for Vocations to the
Priesthood & Religious Life, and to pray for your
Family and Peace in our world.

Family, Faith & Prayer
SICK AND HOMEBOUND MINISTRY
If you would like to take Holy Communion to the Sick
we are looking for someone to serve at The Fountains
Assisted Living Facility in Dana Point. This will be one
Sunday a month following the 9 A.M. Mass. It would
involve approximately two hours of your time. You
would attend a short training session on how to serve
the homebound parishioners in an assisted living facility

MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT
Inviting Married Couples Thursday August 2
Circle your calendar for an evening of “Living Catholic
Marriage”, a series of topics to enrich marriage by helping
husbands and wives communicate better and grow
stronger in their faith. We will meet for an enjoyable potluck
dinner first.

OUR LADY’S BLUE ARMY
Please join us after the 5:30 p.m. Mass every Tuesday to
pray for peace. Our Lady of Fatima in 1917 asked for
prayers and rosaries to obtain peace for the world. Now,
more then ever we must respond to Our Blessed
Mother’s urgent call.

Carmelite Sisters of Sacred Heart Retreats
The Carmelite Sisters of Sacred Heart give priority to the
retreat apostolate. The purpose of the retreat is to provide
others with a silent, restful atmosphere in which they
can come closer to God and deepen their prayer life in
order to return to their homes consoled, strengthened
and spiritually refreshed.
The sisters offer weekend retreats for women and men
and specializing retreats fro married couples, widows, and
divorced. They are committed to selecting retreat masters
who are loyal to the Church and treasure its magisterium
