ENDOW—SUMMER WOMEN’S STUDY<br />

ON THE NEW FEMINISM<br />

church, Monday evenings from 7—9 P.M. next meeting is<br />

July 30th in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Parish</strong> Room<br />

ENDOW (Educating on <strong>the</strong> Nature and Dignity of<br />

Women) As a <strong>Catholic</strong> educational program, Endow<br />

brings women toge<strong>the</strong>r to discover <strong>the</strong>ir God-given dignity<br />

and to understand <strong>the</strong>ir role in humanizing and<br />

transforming society. This will be a small study group<br />

format to cultivate faith, fellowship and formation.<br />

SICK AND HOMEBOUND MINISTRY<br />

If you would like to take Holy Communion to <strong>the</strong> Sick<br />

we are looking for someone to serve at The Fountains<br />

Assisted Living Facility in Dana Point. This will be one<br />

Sunday a month following <strong>the</strong> 9 A.M. Mass. It would<br />

involve approximately two hours of your time. You<br />

would attend a short training session on how to serve<br />

<strong>the</strong> homebound parishioners in an assisted living facility<br />

MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT<br />

OUR LADY’S BLUE ARMY<br />

Please join us after <strong>the</strong> 5:30 p.m. Mass every Tuesday to<br />

pray for peace. Our Lady of Fatima in 1917 asked for<br />

prayers and rosaries to obtain peace for <strong>the</strong> world. Now,<br />

more <strong>the</strong>n ever we must respond to Our Blessed<br />

Mo<strong>the</strong>r’s urgent call.<br />

Carmelite Sisters of Sacred Heart Retreats<br />

The Carmelite Sisters of Sacred Heart give priority to <strong>the</strong><br />

retreat apostolate. The purpose of <strong>the</strong> retreat is to provide<br />

o<strong>the</strong>rs with a silent, restful atmosphere in which <strong>the</strong>y<br />

can come closer to God and deepen <strong>the</strong>ir prayer life in<br />

order to return to <strong>the</strong>ir homes consoled, streng<strong>the</strong>ned<br />

and spiritually refreshed.<br />

The sisters offer weekend retreats for women and men<br />

and specializing retreats fro married couples, widows, and<br />

divorced. They are committed to selecting retreat masters<br />
