TIJUANA MINISTRY
Every Thursday, after the 8:15 A.M. Mass, volunteers
make approximately 300 peanut butter and
jelly sandwiches which are taken to Tijuana on Friday
and distributed to the jail inmates, the homeless
and needy. For more information or to donate

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
Vincentians are called to be servants. We are
called to extend the hand of service as the hand of
Jesus Himself to anyone who is in need, to every
person who lives in our "world" - no matter his or
her faith, or no faith at all. When we look into the
eyes of those in need, may we treat them as if they
are Christ; may we treat them as if we are Christ.

are trained caregivers to provide support and help

CATHOLIC SOCIAL JUSTICE
“You are the people of God; he loved you and
chose you for his own, so then you must clothe
yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness,
and patience.” (Colossians 3:12)
Join the Catholic Social Justice Ministry and assist
us to advocate compassion as we seek to eliminate
the death penalty and replace it with life without
the possibility of parole. Our next meeting is August
8, 2012, 7:00 PM, Church Meeting Room.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
HANDI-KNIGHTS
The Handi-Knights is a program to help those in
our parish and the community with Household
repairs that they are unable to do because of
physical or financial limitations. If anyone has the
need for help call Paul Prendiville 584-4149.
FAITH IN ACTION
The perfect way to give back without a huge
time commitment. There are many folks who
need a ride to Mass. Faith in Action offers rides,
assistance with shopping for groceries and other
chores that we all take for granted. If you have a
seat available in your car when you come to
Mass or some spare time to assist someone with

Greeter’s Ministry
Help greet people arriving for Mass at the front
entrance to our church. It's fun, it's an expression
of your love, it's rewarding, it's unity, it's
belonging, it's familiarity, and it requires very
little of your time. You can choose any Mass

CHRISTIAN SERVICE
The Christian Service Office is a referral center
and a food distribution pantry. We coordinate
with other ministries and agencies to meet the
material, emotional and spiritual needs of our
clients. Our goal is to confirm the God given
dignity of all we respectfully serve.
Our office welcomes non-perishable food items
and monetary donations and if you are interested
in volunteering please contact us. We
service Dana Point and Capistrano Beach. We
are located in front of Knight Hall and are open
Mon. and Wed 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Fri. 9:30
AM to 12:30 PM
Our Lady of Fatima Traveling Statue
The beautiful traveling statue of Our Lady of
Fatima is available to St. Edward parishioners.
