Recently, Dato‟ Sri Nazir received the “2012 Outstanding Achievement Award” in recognition of
his outstanding contribution to the Asian financial markets. In 2011, he was named “Best CEO
(Malaysia)” by FinanceAsia while in 2009 and 2010, Asiamoney recognized Dato‟ Sri Nazir as
the “Best Executive in Malaysia”. Dato‟ Sri Nazir also became the youngest recipient of
FinanceAsia’s “Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2009.
Dato‟ Sri Nazir is married to Dato‟ Azlina Aziz and they have 2 young children. He graduated
from the University of Bristol with a B.Sc. (Hons) and obtained an M.Phil. from the University of
Cambridge.
