Steve is one of<br />
the originators<br />
of the festival who,<br />
along with Clifton<br />
Buck-Kauffman and<br />
our own Jim Boggio,<br />
pioneered this event<br />
in 1991.<br />
Steve was instrumental<br />
in helping<br />
Clifton book some of<br />
the headliners we’ve<br />
enjoyed over the years<br />
after Jim passed away including artists such as Dick Contino, Chuck Berger, Tony<br />
Lovello and resounding hit accordionist, Alex Meixner.<br />
Mr. Balich is also one of the founders of the popular “<strong>Accordion</strong> Club of the Redwoods,”<br />
an organization dedicated to giving scholarships to the young accordion stars<br />
of tomorrow.<br />
The Steve Balich Sr. Polka Band has recorded three hit recordings. If you love Italian<br />
music, you’ll love these: “Our Golden Years,” “Steve Balich Sr. Plays All Italian,”<br />
