90’ has been published in D. George Boyce<br />

and Alan O’Day (eds.), Gladstone and Ireland<br />

(Palgrave Macmillan, 2010).<br />

1998<br />

Rory Galloway writes: ‘In July 2010, I<br />

passed my final exam to qualify as a Fellow<br />

of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.’<br />

2000<br />

Claire McGowan’s first novel is being published<br />

in 2012.<br />

2002<br />

Andreas Giazitzoglu completed a PhD. at<br />

Durham University (2007-2010) and was a<br />

teaching fellow there in 2009. Since 2008<br />

he has been a consultant for the Oxford<br />

English Dictionary. He has published three<br />

journal articles and has a book monograph<br />

in preparation.<br />

2008<br />

Stefanie Schuh writes: ‘At the moment,<br />

I am busy working on my doctoral thesis<br />

which hopefully will be completed within<br />

the next 2 years. Apart from that, I am<br />

employed as a lecturer for Latin language<br />

courses at Tübingen University. In April<br />

2010 I was awarded a scholarship by the<br />

HERTFORD COLLEGE MAGAZINE<br />

by the end of 2010. Moreover, I recently accepted<br />

a proposal from my boyfriend - just<br />
