In our university, there is no preparatory class but the students from the departments can take German electively. Students 

at Tourism Vocational High School can take this course. For this reason, the aims of the course changes from department to 

department. For example, the students studying tourism learn on a multiple aspect base. Students of other departments learn

The main target of the course is teaching students to communicate with their partners. In addition to this, they are also given 

the grammar structures for preparing to a German exam. 

Course Learning Outputs and Proficiencies 

The student who completes German 1 can speak about his/her personal, familial information and make speeches about 

business, shopping and environment. Students can express about routine subjects relating to them. Students can speak in a 

simple and direct way about some topics and give information about himself or herself and education. The student who 

completes German 2 can understand the main frame of a speech or a text related to business if clear and standart language is 

used. Students can cope with routine problems when travelled to country where the language is spoken.

Weekly lectures begin with a discussion of the skeleton and myology, the study of muscles, then move on to drawing 

exercises with the anatomic model. Throughout the course a strong emphasis will be placed on morphology, the study of the 

forms. Students will be encouraged to study from various sources that include selected texts, life casts, 3 dimensional models,

1- Introduces students to the standard artistic canons of human proportion and shows how these proportional 

systems are applied to character design, sculpting, and drawing. The lecture gives a detailed tour of the skeleton and 

familiarizes the students with critical skeletal landmarks and points of articulation, emphasising their importance as a 

foundation to build muscles onto 

2- Builds on the two fundamental masses of the body, the pelvis and the ribcage. The lecture starts with a detailed 

look at the muscles of the chest and introduces the complexities of the shoulder (clavicle and scapula) and presents a method 

for approaching the myriad of muscular attachments that influence the appearance and motion of the shoulder. The second 

half of the lecture covers the muscles that flex and twist the torso – the abdominal and oblique muscles.
