Joel 2:12,13 Yet even now, says the LORD, turn to Me with all your heart, and with
fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. Yes, tear your heart and not your robes, and
turn to the LORD your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great
kindness, and He pities because of the evil.
Daniel 9:3-10 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications,
with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my
confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy
to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; We have sinned, and have
committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy
precepts and from thy judgments: Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the
prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the
people of the land. O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of
faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto
all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast
driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. O Lord, to
us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we
have sinned against thee. To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though
we have rebelled against him; Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to
walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

For the sin which we have committed before You under duress or willingly.

And for the sin which we have committed before You openly or secretly.

For all these, God of pardon, pardon us, forgive us, atone for us.
For the sin which we have committed before You by false denial and lying.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by a bribe-taking or a bribe-giving
hand.
For the sin which we have committed before You by scoffing.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by evil talk about another.
For the sin which we have committed before You in business dealings.
And for the sin which we have committed before You through eating and drinking.
For the sin which we have committed before You by the prattle of our lips.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by a glance of the eye.
For the sin which we have committed before You with proud looks.
And for the sin which we have committed before You with impudence.
For all these, God of pardon, pardon us, forgive us, atone for us.
For the sin which we have committed before You by casting off the yoke of Heaven.
And for the sin which we have committed before You in passing judgment.
For the sin which we have committed before You by scheming against a fellowman.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by a begrudging eye.
For the sin which we have committed before You by frivolity.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by a haughty demeanor.
For the sin which we have committed before You by running to do evil.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by tale-bearing.
For the sin which we have committed before You by swearing in vain.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by causeless hatred.
For the sin which we have committed before You by embezzlement.
And for the sin which we have committed before You by a confused heart.
For all these, God of pardon, pardon us, forgive us, atone for us.
And for the sins for which we would have been obligated to bring a burnt-offering.
And for the sins for which we would have been obligated to bring a sin-offering.

And for the sins for which we would have been obligated to bring a guilt-offering for a
certain or doubtful trespass.
For transgressing the positive and negative commandments.
For all these, God of pardon, pardon us, forgive us, atone for us.
Together:
You are the Pardoner of Israel and the Forgiver of sins in every generation, and aside
from You we have no King who forgives and pardons. We thank you Lord that we have
forgiveness through the shed blood of Messiah Yeshua.
Leviticus 16:2-15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he
come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is
upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat. Thus shall
Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a
burnt offering. He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches
upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be
attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put
them on. And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the
goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. And Aaron shall offer his
bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and
for his house. And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats;
one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. And Aaron shall bring the goat
upon which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. But the goat, on which
the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an
atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness. And Aaron shall
bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for
himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for
himself: And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before
the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense
may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not: And he shall take of
the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and
before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. Then
shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within
the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon
the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

Leviticus 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement
for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year.
Numbers 29:7,8 And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy
convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein: But ye shall
offer a burnt offering unto the LORD for a sweet savour; one young bullock, one ram, and
seven lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish:
Isaiah 58:6,7 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness,
to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every
yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast
out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not
thyself from thine own flesh?
Isaiah 58:13,14 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on
my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt
honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine
own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon
the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the
mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Jonah 1:1-6 And there is a word of Jehovah unto Jonah son of Amittai, saying: `Rise, go
unto Nineveh, the great city, and proclaim against it that their wickedness hath come up
before Me.' And Jonah riseth to flee to Tarshish from the face of Jehovah, and goeth
down to Joppa, and findeth a ship going to Tarshish, and he giveth its fare, and goeth down
into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the face of Jehovah. And Jehovah hath cast a
great wind on the sea, and there is a great tempest in the sea, and the ship hath reckoned
to be broken; and the mariners are afraid, and cry each unto his god, and cast the goods
that are in the ship into the sea, to make it light of them; and Jonah hath gone down unto
the sides of the vessel, and he lieth down, and is fast asleep. And the chief of the company
draweth near to him, and saith to him, `What arise, O sleeper? rise, call unto thy God, it
may be God doth bethink himself of us, and we do not perish.'
