Comments: Rogge,Anna Mary born 7 April 1879, born in WI, was my grandmother. Rogge,
Fredrick (10 NOV. 1834-> 9 Aug. 1917) and Fredericka (9 Apr. 1838). were her parents, both
born in MacKelburg, Germany. Anna Mary Rogge, my grandmother, married Louis Ahrens on 7
June in Freedom, WI and they had six girls all born in WI. One of those girls was my mother,
Anne Ida Rogge Ahrens (11 Feb. 1908->21 March 1943). My mother left WI at about the age of 18-
>20 and lived in Chicago until about 1942. I was born and had a daughter who had the above
DNA results.
Comments: My oldest maternal ancestor that I have found behind my mother's (1916 - 1991)
mother's (1894- 1967) mother's (1877 - 1952) mother's(1849 - 1920) mother is Elizabeth Jane
Wheeler, born in Gibson County, Indiana on November 15, 1821 and died in Edward County,
Illinois on Nov. 6, 1906. The marriage family names for these women were all Great Britain, being
Utley, Wilson, and Paul, and this last maternal link I have, Elizabeth, married a man from a
family who descended from England, Montraville Washington Utley. All of my pedigree, paternal
and maternal, are from Great Britain, the only possible exception a Crocketagne from France in
the 1600's, but he immigrated to Ireland and changed his name to Crockett, married an Irish lass.
