Other Information
• The project is located on a granted mining license (ML125)
• The project has an existing environmental clearance certificate
• Easy access to site by rail and road for delivering equipment
and supplies
• An array of light industrial services are available in Tsumeb
only 25kms away
• Tsumeb smelter is constructing an acid plant which is due for
commissioning at a similar time to Tschudi
• Sufficient process water is available through local aquifers
• Flat surface terrain makes the construction of site
infrastructure easier
• Grid power available on site
Potential Upside
• The planned mine sits on only a small section of the
Tschudi syncline
• The ore body is open along strike and at depth
• Further exploration is planned in 2013
Proposed Mining & Processing Operations
Geology
The Tschudi ore body is a mix of oxide, transitional and sulphide
minerals hosted in sandstone. The predominant copper bearing
minerals are malachite, azurite, chalcocite and bornite. Each of
these minerals is amenable to acid leaching.
Mining & Processing
Tschudi will be an open pit mine operated by a contract miner.
Mining and processing will operate on a 24hr per day, 365 days
per year.
Processing of the ore consists of crushing, agglomeration, stacking,
heap leaching, solvent extraction and electrowinning to produce
copper cathode.
Crushing
Ore from the Tschudi pit will be put through a three stage closed
circuit crushing plant which will reduce the oxide ore to P80

Namibia the Country
Background
Namibia has a stable multi-party democracy with a history of free
elections since independence. The Namibian constitution and its
political leaders promote and encourage inward foreign investment.
The country has a well established mining act, a good and fair legal
system and a friendly tax regime. Mining is the biggest contributor
to Namibia's economy in terms of revenue and is a valued industry
by the Namibian government and people. The Fraser Institute
Survey 2011/12 placed Namibia 6th amongst African nations when
ranking jurisdictions on the attractiveness of their mining policies.
Weatherly International has been operating in Namibia since 2006
and has good relationships within the Namibian government, its
agencies and other stake holders in Namibia.
The Tschudi Project will offer many benefits to Namibia and
Namibians, namely the:
• Creation of more than 500 jobs directly in the
Tschudi operations
• Creation of thousands of jobs indirectly.
• Revenue generation for the Republic of Namibia through
taxation and royalties
• Value addition to pure refined final-product copper for
the first time in the country
• Transfer of important skills to Namibians
• Equity participation for Namibian partners including
Republic of Namibia, Government Insurance Pension Fund
and Labour Investment Holdings
