Consolidated Financial Statements In business year 2007/08, hedge accounting was used for hedging foreign currency payment flows, interest bearing receivables and liabilities, and raw material purchase agreements. The interest rate and currency hedges are cash flow hedges, while the raw material hedges were classified as fair value hedges. From the reserve for foreign exchange differences EUR 0.8 million were withdrawn during the reporting period and recognized as income through profit and loss; negative fair values amounting to EUR 18.7 million were conveyed to the reserve. The reserve for interest hedges in equity was decreased by EUR 5.7 million following variations in the fair values of hedges.
