<strong>ROTARY</strong> <strong>SCREEN</strong><br />
Description<br />
Operation of this rotary screen is based on the principle of continuous flow-through screening. The<br />
material to be screened is fed to the machine through a screw conveyor, belt conveyor etc. The<br />
material is split into two fractions inside the rotating screen drum – a coarse and a fine fraction. The<br />
size of the drum screen holes is matched to the required fine fraction.<br />
The screens are fastened to the screen cage and can be changed with little effort for selecting a<br />
different screen hole diameter. The coarse fraction which does not pass through the screen holes is<br />
directed to a separate discharge device. The coarse as well as the fine fraction are fed continuously<br />
to a downstream process after screening. The rotary screen is available in painted or stainless steel<br />
versions.<br />
