and sustainable mobility and transport solutions.
For our urban transport projects in KSA, office Jeddah, we are seeking an Expert (f/m) Trackwork.
The area of responsibility contains the following tasks:
management of local site supervisors Railway Infrastructure
coordination and advising of Contractors
review and approval railway infrastructure working procedure
reporting (e.g. progress reports, monthly reports, financial reports)
review of Contractor`s proposals for compliance with the technical requirements
supervising works in progress for confirmation of quality standards, safety, construction manner,
and installation practices
review of design and supporting documents
site supervision
evaluation and approval of different ballast less track systems
cost benefit calculation of ballast less track systems
definition and review of track maintenance concept
cost analysis in terms of long life system warranties
Education and Experience:
Dipl.-Eng. (TH/TU) or equivalent Degree of M.Sc. in Civil Engineering
at least 10 years of experience as Railway Engineer (planning and site supervision)
5 years experience with ballast less track different systems
experience with high axle loads and/or high speed lines
utilization of MS-Office and project management software (e.g. MS-Project, Primavera)
used to work as professional head in design or consultancy or construction of railway projects
ability of leading a team
strong organizing and coordination capability
above-average physical and psychical capacity
ability of working abroad in multicultural teams
customer focus
ability of working under extreme climate conditions
excellent knowledge of English (able to conduct business fluently, spoken and written)
prepared to relocate to KSA or to work worldwide
