explanation. If this copy is kept<br />
handy, the solution of most of the<br />
trouble is soon evident.<br />
It is pleasing to note, too, illany<br />
new clubs registering. This proves<br />

It has becn the goal of the \:.:.iter<br />

have this Central Club formed and<br />
have talked it over mith many shoot-<br />
ers. I11 most cases they have been<br />
all in favour.<br />

\?ill adinit that its formation is overdue.<br />

Some people ill not agree with<br />
this, saying that jt mill kill the individual<br />
club feeling. This may be<br />
to a degree, but the advantages to<br />
be gaincd will far outweigh this<br />
feeling.<br />

Our weather for the Inland Empire<br />
nras terrible, cold, wet and rotten<br />
high winds. Earl Colson, a boy ~IIO<br />
has not becn shooting for a few<br />
years, came out and did a remarkable<br />
job. Earl is a Class AA. 25-yd.<br />
shooter. He won the Double A Championship<br />
of North America at the<br />
Grand in 1947, with a 200 straight,<br />
breaking allother 150 straight in the<br />
shoot-off, 350 in a row on the same<br />
day. Well, at our shoot this year he<br />
\\,on the Singles with 200 straight<br />
1G yds., next score to him was 196.<br />
Earl also won the Handicap from 25<br />
yds. with 95, then he broke a Dl from<br />
25 yds., winning a Pontiac car worth<br />
2,800 dollars for his total on the 200<br />
Handicap targets, 18G; runner-up<br />
had 185, he mas a local boy.<br />

clay bild shooters attended the June hospitality and the splendid 1vay<br />
meeting ol the Mildura Gun Club they conducted the shoot from begmand<br />
