Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry, free of powdery materials and loose or scaling paint. If mildew is present,
surface should be washed with chlorine bleach solution (20% bleach, 1% liquid detergent in water) see
"Special Note". To avoid lap marks keep a "wet edge" by stopping only at natural breaks such as windows,
doors or the natural course of the siding. New smooth wood should be sanded to remove mill glaze prior to
painting. One coat application is recommended for decks. 16600 must be tinted and is not to be used
as a clear coating.
