From this it will be noted that if the proposed chronology in the headings is followed -
1. Creation would be 4050 BC rather than 4004 BC. If the pre-Ussher means of dating the birth
of Abraham were followed, Creation would then be sixty years later (3990 BC). Further
consideration needs also to be given to the timing of the divided monarchy. As it is likely that
Creation took place at about 4000 BC, several factors could be shown that would result in this
date. These, however, are matters for study beyond the scope of this book.
2. The Times of the Gentiles, when Nebuchadnezzar first invaded Jerusalem, will have begun in
520 BC (70+450) rather than 605 BC.
