Position Title: Director The Position Location: London South Bank University Reports to: Professor Rao Bhamidimarri, Dean of Engineering, Science and the Built Environment, LSBU Specific Responsibilities Develop the strategy and identity for the institute; Be a passionate advocate and champion for engineering and enterprise; Engage in business development activities and networking with partners in industry, government, professional bodies and learned societies, both within the UK and overseas; Work with others to develop and implementation a range of programmes and activities in line with the institute’s mission; Manage a small team effectively, and in such a way as to inspire and encourage high quality in all the institute’s work; Ensure the financial viability of the institute – both through sound management of budgets and costs, and through income generation through its activities.
