Seminars
Description: Paper reading seminar at TU Berlin. Students learn to read a paper,
understand the related work, write a 10-page summary of the work, give feedback
to each other, and present it in front of their peers. Students do this with the help
of their advisor.

Lab courses
Description: Programming lab course at TU Berlin. Students learn to solve practical
tasks in network programming and network configuration. Students work in
teams of 2 to 3 persons and present their solutions to each other.

Lectures
Description: “Advanced Topics” are advanced level lectures at ETH Zurich. This
lecture is complemented with individual mini-projects and homework.
2012/2013 Advanced Topics in Communication Networks: Co-organizer and co-reader with
Bernhard Plattner, Domenico Giustiniano, and Maciej Kurant. Lecturing language
was English.
Description: Lecture-based courses on specific topics at TU Berlin. “Network protocols
and architectures” is a basic course, “Internet measurement” and “Internet
Security” are advanced courses. “Network protocols and architectures” is accompanied
by extensive tutorials and assignments to students.
2011/12 Network Protocols and Architectures: Co-organizer and co-reader with Anja
Feldmann, Petr Kuznetsov, and Stefan Schmid. This lecture was held in German
and in English, and I was lecturing in both languages.
