2 <strong>Ames</strong> Research Center <strong>NASA</strong>’s Aerospace Fellowship Program <strong>Ames</strong>, in cooperation with <strong>NASA</strong>’s <strong>Office</strong> of University Aflairs, has provided eight job sites for National Aerospace Fellowship studentsdar~ng the surnnler. The program is designed to attract minorities and women into professional careers in the scientific and engineering fields By attracting these highly trained people, <strong>NASA</strong> is providing for its future employment needs. <strong>NASA</strong> awards these training grants to 18 universities who in turn select the students to participate in the program. At present. Ms. (oleman, a Contract Specialist in the Policy and Review <strong>Office</strong>, reviews contracts and assists in establishing procurement policies and procedures, She also serves as the Procurement Division’s Training Coordinator in determining the training needs of the Division Ms. Co]eman is looking forward to her year on the EPM program, She hopes to obtain a broadened understanding ot the political, administrative and cultura] environment in which we {<strong>Ames</strong>) are operating, to study areas not covered in her previous education and to combine them with study related in varying degrees to current and future job responsibilities.
