William M Bassett Direct Relations<br />

One of the original proprietors of <strong>For</strong>t No. 4 under the MA Grant. Only two others of the proprietors undre the MA Grant<br />

settles at No. 4, Capt. Phineas Stephens and Stephen Farnsworth. Of his children, Capt. Samuel Wetherbe, Abijah<br />

Wetherbe and Jonathan Wetherbe settled ultimately in Concord, VT.<br />

Died enroute to Cape Breton Island.<br />
