completing the undergraduate programme a
student could enter a career in construction site
management, or sub- contract work, to mention
a few options. On completion of the two-year
honours programme students register nationally
and internationally as professional construction
managers and opportunities become far wider,
with project management, property
development, portfolio management,
commercial marketing and managerial positions
in the corporate environment, to mention a few.
Professional construction managers are
entrepreneurs and often create their own work,
even outside the built environment.
