Die graadprogramstruktuur vir Veeartsenykunde is onlangs gewysig na 'n 3-jarige BSc-graadprogram gevolg deur 'n 4jarige<br />

BVSc-graadprogram. Die BSc-graadprogram is saamgestel met die oog op Veeartsenykunde en word aangebied deur<br />

die Fakulteit Natuur- en Landbouwetenskappe by UP se Hatfield-kampus in samewerking met die Fakulteit<br />

Veeartsenykunde. Die BVSc-graadprogram word deur die Fakulteit Veeartsenykunde by die Onderstepoort-kampus<br />

aangebied. Voornemende Veeartsenykundestudente moet die BSc Veterinêre Biologie-graadprogram voltooi en gedurende<br />

die derde jaar aansoek doen om toelating tot die BVSc-graadprogram. Toelating geskied na 'n keuringsproses. Die getal<br />

studente wat tot die BVSc-graadprogram toegelaat word, word tot 120 per jaar beperk.<br />

The degree structure of the Veterinary Science programme has recently been changed to a 3-year BSc programme followed<br />

by a 4-year BVSc programme. The BSc component is custom-made for Veterinary Science and is offered by the Faculty of<br />

Natural and Agricultural Sciences at UP's Hatfield campus in conjuction with the Faculty of Veterinary Science. The BVSc<br />

degree programme is offered by the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the Onderstepoort campus. Prospective veterinary<br />

students will have to complete the BSc Veterinary Biology programme and apply for admission to the Faculty of Veterinary<br />

Science during the third year of the programme. Admission is determined by a selection process. The total number of<br />

places will be restricted to 120 per annum in the BVSc programme<br />
