Departure<br />

January 14, Delta Flight 5251 To Key West, Departs at 6:55PM<br />

Several <strong>Scouts</strong> will depart on an earlier flight DL 2271 departing at 2:55pm.<br />

(<strong>The</strong>se <strong>Scouts</strong> and Dads include Harrison, <strong>Link</strong>, McCrady, White, McGuire,<br />

Wright)<br />

<strong>Scouts</strong> should arrive at the South Ticketing/Delta lower level side by 5:00 pm.<br />

This is a holiday weekend so expect bad traffic and delays. We will head to the<br />

gate at 5:15 exactly. If you miss us you will need to find a way to meet us at the<br />

gate. Brent Eiland will be stationed on the sidewalk so <strong>Scouts</strong> can be dropped <strong>of</strong>f<br />

without parking. This is the area where many people check bags on the lower<br />

level <strong>of</strong> Delta. Brent will be located just before this baggage drop on the right<br />

side <strong>of</strong> the sidewalk.<br />

We will not check bags.<br />

Return<br />

January 17, Delta 2190 and arrive in Atlanta at 7:38 PM<br />

Meet us at the Delta Baggage Claim top <strong>of</strong> the escalator and please be on time as<br />

everyone will be tired and ready for home. Flight time is approximately 2 hours.<br />

Costs<br />

<strong>The</strong> all inclusive fee is $650 per person. To secure your spot and lock in this<br />

Uniforms As required by BSA policy, we will wear our Class A Uniform to SeaBase and back.<br />

This includes our Class A shirt and khaki (<strong>Lovett</strong>) short/long pants. <strong>Troop</strong> T-Shirts DO<br />

NOT count as Class A.<br />

Notes about Gear<br />

No bedding or sleeping bag is required – SeaBase will provide all linens<br />

Watch the weather – the last time we went we had record lows – pack wisely<br />

We will be around water – no mountains. No boots, knifes, etc.<br />

Raincoat is a must<br />

No cooking gear or camping gear – we will stay in large rooms with bunks<br />

Medicines will need to be placed in a Ziploc with instructions and your name.<br />

Medicines should be given to Brent Eiland upon check in Friday night.<br />

Meals Friday Dinner – On your own, please eat before you arrive at airport before flight<br />

Saturday – All meals provided by SeaBase in their Dining Hall<br />

Sunday – Breakfast and Lunch provided by SeaBase<br />

Sunday Night –Travel to Key West - We will eat as a <strong>Troop</strong> and paid by <strong>Troop</strong><br />

Monday – SeaBase will provide Breakfast and Lunch<br />

Monday Dinner – <strong>Boy</strong>s can eat at Airport or when they arrive in Atlanta<br />

Watch the weather as it could be very warm or very cold – tough to pack for<br />

We will be in sleeping facilities similar to army barracks. <strong>The</strong>y are very<br />

comfortable with heat, AC, and nice facilities.<br />

Each boy will have a bunk with linen provided<br />

Cards, footballs, and Frisbees might be a good thing to pack if there is room.<br />

SeaBase should have some <strong>of</strong> this but there is no guarantee.<br />

<strong>The</strong>re is an on-site Ship Store, so have the boys bring extra money<br />

<strong>The</strong>y will be well fed but I know how these guys eat. It is OK to send snacks.<br />
