Baie geluk aan Percy Williams wat ingesluit is<br />

in die SA-Skolespan.<br />

Dit is ’n uitstaande prestasie en enige jong<br />

seun se droom. Die SA-Skolespan speel ‘n<br />

voorwedstryd op Saterdag 20 Augustus in<br />

Port Eli<strong>za</strong>beth in die nuwe Nelson Mandela<br />

Stadion teen ‘n oorsese skolespan. Sterkte<br />

met jou voorbereiding, Percy.<br />

Netbal<br />

Deoné Bouwer en Anecia Badenhorst het<br />

gedurende die vakansie aan die SA Skole<br />

Netbaltoernooi deelgeneem in Rustenburg as<br />

deel van die O/15 Ceders Wes-Kaapspan. Dit<br />

het baie goed gegaan met die span. Hulle<br />

was tweede in hul groep en vyfde uit 24 O/15<br />

netbalspanne van regoor die land.<br />

POLO CROSSE<br />

Corlia Swart het in die vakansie die O/16 IPT<br />

Polo Crosse Toernooi bygewoon as lid van die<br />

die OP-span. Sy en haar perd het die<br />

toekenning as “Beste Ruiter en Perd Kombinasie”<br />

ontvang.<br />

STRUISIE DRUMMIES<br />

The Struisies Drummies Team of 30 learners spent the first two weeks of the vacation practising<br />

approximately four hours a day as preparation for the National Championships held in Durban<br />

(11-12 July).<br />

After the heats on Monday the results were:<br />

During the Premier Division final, the Struisies received the following:<br />

This is a first for the Struisie and SWD. The team received the trophy for overall se<strong>co</strong>nd place in<br />

the Small Drill category. The Struisies also received much praise for their excellent performances<br />

and their progress since last year.<br />

Interprovincial Competition<br />

The following 7 Sturisies were part of the Western Cape team which participated in the Interprovincial<br />
