Mr. Ghassan Ejjeh is one of the most recognized experts in the <strong>Desalination</strong> and<br />
Water Reuse Industry. His qualifications and many years of industrial experience<br />
led to his recognition and worldwide election to be a President of the International<br />
<strong>Desalination</strong> <strong>Association</strong> (IDA). He served also as Treasurer and Chairman of Election<br />
and Membership committee. His distinguished service for IDA is recognized by his<br />
peers with continuous election to the Board of Directors on which he serves as a<br />
member of Executive Operation Committee and a Member of the Environmental Task<br />
Force.<br />
A civil engineering graduate from UMIST (Manchester University) with post graduate<br />
work on Marine structures, Mr. Ejjeh has completed several managerial and financial<br />
courses throughout his career Ghassan Ejjeh has been instrumental in the expansion<br />
of the BESIX Group’s activities in the Middle East. He has over forty years experience<br />
in the construction and water industries, He currently holds the position of Group<br />
Senior Vice President and Director of Six Construct UAE, BESIX SANOTEC SA and<br />
Ajman Sewage company.<br />
Mr. Ejjeh’s 40 years experience in the Middle East both technical and commercial<br />
allowed him to lead and develop many large scale power desalination projects. He is<br />
a vocal champion for Waster Wate Reuse.<br />
Mr. Ejjeh is a well known speaker at conferences, forums and seminars. He was a<br />
Chairman of the World Congress on <strong>Desalination</strong> and Water Reuse in Bahrain. He<br />
made on the subject over 100 presentations at such events.<br />
Mr. Ejjeh has also provided consultation and advice to many leading corporation<br />
particularly in the Middle East and GCC countries. He is on the Boards of numerous<br />
organization and companies. He is very well acquainted with the customs and rules<br />
and regulations of the Middle East. Through his experience he is very familiar with<br />
the Water and Power Utilities of the Region and commands great personal respect<br />
with the leaders of the Governments as well as the Industry.<br />
