Although this product has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions the
registration holder does not warrant that it will be effective under all conditions because
the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal climatic and
storage conditions, quality of dilution water, compatibility with other substances not
indicated on the label and the occurance of resistance of the insect against the remedy
concerned, as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The
registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops
vegetation the environment or harm to man or animal due to failure of the user to follow
the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions that could not have been forseen
by the registration holder.
This is an input product for bio-dynamic and organic agriculture and the efficiency
is enhanced by management style suited for these farming practices.

‘n volume water gelykstaande aan ‘n tiende van die van die houer en
voeg die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk voordat die
houer op die voorgeskrewe manier van ontslae geraak word. ·
Vernietig die leë houer deur plat te slaan en gate in te maak. ·
Moet nie leë houer vir enige ander doel gebruik nie. · Voorkom besoedeling
van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei.
·Prevent inhalation of spray mist. ·Wash hands after use and before eating, drinking and
smoking. ·In case of eye contact rinse eyes with clean running water for at least 15 minutes.
·Clean applicator after use and dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate
crops, grazing, rivers and dams. ·Do not apply within 30 m to water or areas where surface
water is present. ·Rinse empty container three times with a volume of water equal to
at least one tenth of that of the container and add the rinsings to the contents of the spray

Note on Phytotoxicity
Phytotoxicity has been recorded on certain pear cultivars and flowers, which can be
linked to the naval oil content. It is therefore recommended to spray a small area first and
make certain that no phytotoxicity occurs to cover all eventualities regarding non compatibilities
with residues of applied fertilizers, surfactants, adjuvants and other pesticide
sprays.
Test in the heat of the day, spray in the evening.

This product has been developed for use within the AGRICULTURAL PROD-
UCT STANDARDS ACT, 1990 (ACT No. 119 OF 1990) and within the IFOAM
principles. The efficacy is dependent on the (eco)system and can range from
minimal control (when more than one application is needed) to sufficient control
(one application). Monitoring of the pest and timely application will enhance the
efficacy of this product.

Resistance Warning
• Avoid exclusive, repeated use of insecticides from the same insecticide group code (Bio-Neem TM belongs
to group code 26) Alternate or tank mix with products from different insecticide group codes.
• Integrate control methods (chemical, cultural and biological) into insect control programs.
Contact your local distributor for specific information on resistance management.
Mode of Action
Bio-Neem TM contains pure Neem oil and soft soap. Azadirachtin and its family esters create hormonal
disruption, which prevents the insect from feeding, breeding or metamorphosing. Bio-Neem TM is effective
for about 4 days if not washed of by rain or irrigation. Nymphs and larvae on foliage should be
targeted by spraying to the point of runoff. Application is generally repeated after 4 to ten days. Humic
acid or Bio-Wash helps to magnify strike action of Bio-Neem TM , whilst the addition of Bio-Insek or Bio-
Worm will increase efficacy.
High infestations should be targeted initially with Expellar, Kingbo TM or Exterminator.
Nymphal, larval and pupal stages of soil-borne pests can be targeted by a drench (prevent excessive leaching),
followed up within a week. (When targeting Nematodes, Bio-Tode 1 and Bio-Tode 2 must be included
in such treatment)
Bio-Neem TM should be applied during late afternoon to sunrise and needs in excess of eight hours to act
before overhead irrigation or rain.

Verenigbaarheid: Voordat Bio-Neem TM met enige ander produk gemeng word, moet ‘n verenigbaarheidstoets
uitgevoer word.
Menginstruksies: SKUD KAN GOED voordat produk in mengtenk gevoeg word. Gebruik skoon water
met pH 6-7 en benatter / kleefmiddel. Roer deeglik tydens byvoeging van produk in mengtenk asook
tydens toepassing. Spuit die hele inhoud van die tenk uit dieselfde dag as aangemaak.
Compatibility: A compatibility test must be carried out before mixing Bio-Neem TM with any other product.
Mixing instructions: SHAKE CONTAINER THOROUGHLY before adding to mixing tank. Use clean
water with pH 6-7 and an appropriate wetter/sticker. Stir water in mixing tank when Bio-Neem TM is
added and agitate during application. Use mixture on same day.

Preharvest Interval
The active, Azadirachtin, has a clean record regarding adverse effects on human health at concentration
levels of A.D.I. up to 0.1 mg/kg and holds no risk to consumers via acute residue exposure even directly
after application. Azadirachtin has a half life of three days and when sprayed at recommended concentration
of 500 ml/100 l to runoff, a zero residue < 0.01 ppm is reached within 4 days. For leafy vegetables
and tomatoes this time has to be increased to 10 days.
