THE ADMIRALSPALAST 

The Admiralspalast opened a century 

ago as a temple of entertainment and 

amusement that presented endless 

opportunities in its proportions: revue 

theatre, bowling alley, cinema, ice-skating 

rink, brothel, and salt-water baths 

(bad) - all under one roof. 

As part of the ever-changing history of 

Berlin, the story of the Admiralspalast 

has also been affected by constant 

disruption and contrasts. It‘s all the 

more exceptional that after almost 10 

years remaining empty with the threat of 

demolishment, today the Admiralspalast 

enjoys a future as a vibrant entertainment 

venue.

history and offers a remarkable home 

for events varying from high culture to 

the club scene. Thus the Admiralspalast 

combines the spirit of Berlin‘s golden 

years as an amusement metropolis with 

its current urban culture.

THE ADMIRALS THEATER 

The big theatre hall, with its two balconies, 

the largest theatre stage and a huge 

chandelier, constitutes the heart of the 

Admiralspalast. It offers capacity seating 

for 1,756 spectators. 

The Admirals Theater is also attractive because 

of its versatility. From theatre performances, 

musicals, symphony concerts 

to standing-only rock and pop concerts; 

from gala dinners, receptions, balls to special 

events: anything is possible. 





The theatre can be quickly transformed 

into a ballroom. This is accomplished by 

a specially designed system that enables 

the seats to be provisionally stored 

under the balcony. 



Before and after performances the bars 

in the lobbies offer space for conversation 

and refreshments. These foyers can 

also be used for exclusive gala dinners 

or receptions.

THE ADMIRALS 101 

The F101 is the Admiralspalast‘s small 

theatre hall. This performance space is 

located on the 3rd floor and is suited for 

every kind of show. Through the large, 

wide-lattice windows one is treated to a 

view through the courtyard and onto the 

Friedrichstrasse train station. 




Whether utilized for its gala, stage show 

or lounge flair, in the 101 up to 200 people 

can relax together in the centre of the 

German capital. 

The adjoining bar area offers an elegant 

atmosphere for conversation before and 

after performances.

THE ADMIRALS STUDIO 

With 423 seats the Studio on the 4th 

floor of the historical building is the 

second largest venue in the Admiralspalast. 

The large 96 m 2 stage is the setting for 

numerous shows and theatre performances, 

and lends itself ideally for concerts 

and shows for larger audiences. 




The adaptable mechanization of hydraulic 

bleachers allows the space to be 

turned into a ballroom within minutes. 




The Studio in the Admiralspalast is ideal 

for concerts, parties or gala dinners. 




A special aspect is the well-preserved 

white lobby, furnished with a separate bar, 

which can also be used for dinners, parties 

or receptions.

Since its opening in August 2006 the 

Admiralspalast is home to theatre pieces, 

musicals, dance shows, concerts, 

parties, gala dinners, receptions and 

various other types of events. 

Among the events that have taken place 

so far: „The Threepenny Opera“ staged 

by Klaus Maria Brandauer with Campino 

as Mackie Messer; Fassbinder‘s revised 

version of „Berlin Alexanderplatz“ that 

had its world premiere here during the 

Berlin Film Festival 2007; the Gold 

Record Award for the Berlin band „The 

Boss Hoss“; and also performances by 

numerous artists such as Jan Delay, 

Johannes Heesters und Katja Riemann, 

Helge Schneider, Anette Louisan, Roger 

Cicero, Max Raabe, Thomas Quasthoff 

und Till Brönner, Stefan Gwildis, Götz 

Alsmann, De La Soul, Fehlfarben, Marianne 

Rosenberg and many more.

Advance ticket box office is located in the Admiralspalast 

main entrance lobby on the ground floor. Advanced tickets 

can be purchased there Monday through Saturday from 

12 - 7pm, and on Sundays and holidays from 12 - 5pm. 

The evening box office opens one hour before the performance 

begins.

Directly at the Friedrichstrasse train station, on the north 

side of the Friedrichstrasse, between the station and the 

Spree River.
