Example Calculation for compressor
In a wastewater treatment system, three radial compressors with a power rating of 55
kW blow air into a so-called aeration basin. This removes organic particles of dirt and
ammonia from the pre-treated water. The REDISave energy-saving program
determines the cost saving by using a variable-speed compressor drive with a
frequency inverter in comparison to previously fixed-speed operation.
