Fast and flexible viscosity
measurement
Many viscometer users need
fast and easy determinations.
The “VP 1000” and “VP 1000
M” series viscometers are
light and operated by battery
that allows more than
24 hours’ non-stop use. The
“VP 1000” is hand-held but
a stand can be ordered separately.
Pressing just one key allows
users to begin rotation and
measurement, stop the motor
and enter the spindle selection
screen. These features
give users the flexibility to
determine viscosity quickly
and accurately for production
batch release, quality control
or a check anywhere on site.
Four different versions each
offer a fixed speed of 20,
30, 50 or 60 rpm. The viscosity
range varies depending
on version. A key feature is
compatibility with the Brookfield
method, thus allowing
comparison with results from
standard rotary viscometers.

The faster way to stronger mortars
“Peramin AXL 80” has been
introduced as a new accelerating
system based on lithium
sulfate, the best accelerator
for Kerneos calcium aluminate
cement-rich mortars.
This new accelerator is now
available worldwide.
It brings about faster development
of early mechanical
properties at both 23 °C
and 5 °C in comparison with
conventional accelerating
systems. This is due to its
rapid dissolution in water. An
added benefit is the ability to
achieve a defect-free surface
appearance.

The natural source for new polyols
Oleon is Europe’s leading

start-up of its new
MPG (propylene glycol) plant
