As an agency, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PA) is moving towards creating Building Information management (BIM) models for new facilities, as well as
existing facilities undergoing major modification. The creation of 3-D CAD strata models allows the geotechnical engineer to contribute to that effort. The strata models can be
