Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre
Since the opening of the Vilnius centre last
October all activities are developing nicely
including special pujas, Ayurveda workshops
and weekend seminars. A highlight was the
arrival of the marble Krishna for the altar,
which came from India in February and spreads
an uplifting energy in the meditation room.
NEW DELHI, INDIA

Dwarka Centre
After fours years since opening of the centre,
the monsoons will no longer flood the base -
ment satsang hall. The open back stairwell has
now been closed with new windows. Another
improvement is the completed fence at the
back of the building, giving more security and
refinement to the building area. Dwarka Centre
is a 5 storey building; 1 story for reception and
office, and 3 stories are used for the many diff -
erent classes and workshops offered at the centre.

The first Sivananda Yoga Centre in Europe
(established in 1974) is remem bering its origins
with a gallery of historical black and white
pictures featuring Swamijis pioneer work in the
west, including new informative boards on
Master and Swamiji’s mission.

new curtains, giving a warm welcome to the

Sivananda Tour 2010: Madrid is located in
the geographical centre of the country,
regularly attracting workstudy students from
the provinces to the Centre. This spring saw
lightning visits to many places in Spain: Yoga
congress in Malaga and Gerona and Satsangs
and Yoga days with active Sivananda teachers
in Valladolid, Murcia and Elche. News from the

PARIS, FRANCE
Centre Sivananda de Yoga Vedanta
The completion of the renovations of the new,
spacious and sunny first floor in the Paris centre
has created three additional teaching rooms and
three residential quarters. Close to two years
after the move of the Paris centre, the opening
of the new floor marked a further development
of the activities of the centre. The extra teaching
space is used for daily gentle classes, philosophy
courses and special guest lectures. (Below: the
main yoga hall).
It is the wish of the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres to make this treasure of knowledge
