Product Overview<br />
The EliteConnect <strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 IEEE 802.11h Wireless Enterprise Access<br />
Point is based on IEEE 802.11n standards. The <strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 2T2R Dual Band<br />
PoE Wireless Access Point provides the best class, secure, robust and high<br />
performance data transmission and wireless coverage with single radio dual band<br />
that provides both 2.4GHz and 5GHz radio bands.<br />
Key Features and Benefits<br />
Wireless IEEE 802.11n Technology<br />
Compliant with IEEE 802.11n standards and MIMO<br />
(Multi Input Multi Output) wireless technology, the<br />
<strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 provides 2 radio frequency (RF) input<br />
and 2 RF output to extend and increase 2 to 4 times the<br />
bandwidth and throughput output compared to existing<br />
Wi-Fi access points. Supporting the Spatial Multiplexing<br />
transmission technique the <strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 combines<br />
the RF signal and transmit multiple data streams at the<br />
same time and on the same channel.<br />
Dual Band PoE Access Point<br />
To maximum total return on investment, <strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2<br />
uses dynamic rate shifting and provides automatic<br />
matching for the best connection speed to simplify the<br />
installation process. WLAN network connections allow<br />
users to be connected to the network, even while<br />
roaming. The <strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 supports two optional<br />
fixed dual band antennas and provides optimal wireless<br />
coverage concurrently for RF at 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11<br />
b/g/n and 5GHz IEEE 802.11 a/n. Integrated with IEEE<br />
802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), the <strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2<br />
allows Wi-Fi deployment where power outlets are not<br />
available.<br />
Advanced Traffic<br />
Management<br />
<strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 supports two<br />
SSIDs and can support up to 50<br />
wireless clients, which can be<br />
physically separated by different<br />
access points. IP sharing allows<br />
NAT/NAPT functions to share<br />
the broadband connection up to<br />
253 users (wired and wireless).<br />
Virtual server and DMZ functions<br />
allows internal servers to be<br />
accessed from the Internet.<br />
Enhanced Security<br />
In Order to maintain a secured wireless network, the<br />
<strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 offers the latest wireless security<br />
technologies by supporting both Personal and Enterprise<br />
versions of WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK (IEEE 802.11i).<br />
To further protect the wireless network, RADIUS<br />
Authentication, Access Control list (ACL), Wireless LAN<br />
segmentation and Disable SSID Broadcast are also<br />
integrated. IEEE 802.1x authentication protocol supports<br />
Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) MD5,<br />
Transport Layer Security (TLS), Protected EAP (PEAP)<br />
and Tunneled TLS (TTLS).<br />
Full Management Capabilities<br />
The <strong>SMCE21011</strong> v2 provides multiple management<br />
options include Web (HTTP), Secure HTTP (HTTPS),<br />
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Secure Shell (SSH), and<br />
Telnet can also be chosen by network administrators.
