SR Technics completes integration of FLS Aerospace
and consolidates brand
Zurich, London, Dublin, January 28 th 2005
SR Technics today announced the completion of the integration of
FLS Aerospace following the acquisition of the Company in June
2004. The enlarged group is the world’s largest independent Total
Solutions Provider of aircraft, component, engine and technical
services with a combined turnover of $1.2 billion.
The integration has involved an intensive, 6-month phase of alignment, induction of all
employees to the SR Technics Brand values and restructuring of the businesses to optimise
efficiency and service quality for the group’s customers. This phase has now been
successfully completed.
From January 28 th a revised Group structure comes into place. The FLS Aerospace brand
will be replaced by the SR Technics brand and FLS Aerospace (UK) Limited and FLS
Aerospace (IRL) Limited will be renamed SR Technics UK Limited and SR Technics Ireland
Limited respectively. The Swiss entity will remain as SR Technics Switzerland. In addition,
other smaller entities within the group will also take on the SR Technics name.
Each entity will provide complimentary services within the group and Focused Service
Centres for specific products and services have been established. The Swiss entity is a
Focused Service Centre for Airbus providing base, component, line and technical services,
in addition to its engine maintenance services. In the UK, the focus will be on Boeing
aircraft with this entity providing light and line maintenance, component and technical
services for this type. In Ireland, the group will focus on both Boeing and Airbus providing
heavy and line maintenance, aircraft modifications and component support of these
services. In addition, the Dublin facility has become the Focused Service Centre for
engineering design within the group, having recently acquired its EASA 21 Design Approval.
Speaking at employee events being staged at SR Technics facilities today to mark the
completion of the integration and the consolidation under the SR Technics brand, Hans
Ulrich Beyeler, President and CEO, SR Technics, said: “The integration process has gone

The group will continue with plans to integrate IT and implement one enterprise-wide IT
system, SAP, across the organisation. SAP is currently in place at SR Technics Switzerland
and is expected to be rolled out at SR Technics UK and SR Technics Ireland late this year.
