Zorbax preparative guard-column hardware kit<br />
The ZORBAX Preparative Guard-<br />
Column has been developed to<br />
provide convenient, cost-effective<br />
protection <strong>for</strong> high-per<strong>for</strong>mance<br />
lab-scale preparative columns.<br />
The cartridge components<br />
assemble quickly <strong>and</strong> easily to<br />
provide a high-efficiency, lowdead-volume<br />
column that seals at<br />
pressures up to 2000 psi (135 bar,<br />
13.5 MPa).<br />
The guard-column tubing made<br />
from polyphenylene-sulfone is<br />
specifically engineered to make<br />
leak-tight seals against metal<br />
surfaces, without requiring<br />
gaskets. The reusable guardcolumn<br />
end fittings adapt the<br />
ZORBAX Preparative Guard Column Hardware<br />
cartridge guard-column <strong>for</strong><br />
connection to st<strong>and</strong>ard 1/16 inch<br />
LC fittings <strong>and</strong> provide a st<strong>and</strong>alone<br />
guard-column system. The<br />
ZORBAX materials used in<br />
preparative cartridges are<br />
matched with chemistry chosen<br />
<strong>for</strong> compatibility with a wide<br />
range of applications.<br />
