• % <strong>of</strong> girls and boys getting married after reaching 18 and 21 years <strong>of</strong> age
respectively
• Number <strong>of</strong> peer educators per 100 adolescents available to impart nutrition and
health
education and reproductive hygiene
• % <strong>of</strong> adolescent girls who adopt hygienic practices during
menstruation/reproduction
• % <strong>of</strong> boys who observe penile hygiene
• % <strong>of</strong> adolescents who use condom during their last sexual act
• Qualitative changes as depicted through processes, documentation, case studies
etc.
Financial Terms & Conditions:
• Grant in aid amounting to Rs 2-3 lakhs per NGO for One year.
• The Salary component <strong>of</strong> the budget will not exceed 35% <strong>of</strong> the total budget.
• Funds will be made available to NGO according to proposed intervention as per
TOR through District Health Society .
• Contingency <strong>of</strong> 10% <strong>of</strong> total cost less the salary is permissible.
The NGO will incur expenditure as per approved budget. Flexibility will be
available to make adjustment among the budget head up to 10% without prior approval.
Additional changes between budget head permissible with prior approval <strong>of</strong> State
Health Society.
Eligibility
• Registered NGOs having capacity and commitment with at least 3 years experience
in health, social mobilization activities at grass root level in RCH .
• Must have field presence in the district for at least two years.
• Must have minimum fixed assets in the form <strong>of</strong> land and /or building reflected in the
latest audited balance sheet or /fixed deposit <strong>of</strong> Rs 2 lakhs in the name <strong>of</strong> NGO
which may be considered as bank gurantee.
Project <strong>proposal</strong> need to be submitted in Log frame form, with detailed action plan,
budget requirements to State Health Society
