Our changing hospitals –
A virtual tour
Friday 19 November
Welcome

Today’s tour:
We aim to give you an overview of the developments happening on
site today which will lead to a better service for patients and better
environment for staff by 2014
The consolidation of services at the Lister Hospital is not the end of
the story though…
You have signed up to support us and to challenge us as public
members when we achieve our ambition to become a Foundation
Trust.
Foundation Trust (FT) status will mean more accountability to the
local community through elected public and staff governors and
more freedom to develop our services.
We hope to have received approval from the Department of Health
to be assessed to prove our readiness to become an FT by next
summer.
