The decision to proceed with or reschedule a conference/sem<strong>in</strong>ar is based on the number of participants registered.<br />

People cancell<strong>in</strong>g with very late notice has necessitated the <strong>in</strong>troduction of the follow<strong>in</strong>g refund policy:<br />

(a) 10% adm<strong>in</strong>istrative fee levied on all participants who cancel<br />

(b) 14 days or more notification - full refund (i.e. 90%)<br />

(c) seven days or more notification - 70% refund<br />

(d) less than seven days notification - 25% refund<br />

Cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Professional</strong> Development<br />

Under national registration nurses and midwives must undertake 20 hours of cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g<br />

professional development each year as part of the requirements to re-register with the<br />

Nurs<strong>in</strong>g and Midwifery Board of Australia. Many ANF Education Centre courses, sem<strong>in</strong>ars<br />

and workshops qualify as cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g professional development. Participants are provided with<br />

documentation for their professional portfolio <strong>in</strong> the event they are <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> a Nurs<strong>in</strong>g and<br />
