○ <strong>Beban</strong> kerja= 50 tan<br />

○ <strong>Beban</strong> ujian= 2 x beban kerja<br />

= 2 x 50 = 100 ton<br />

○ Increament untuk menaikkan beban = 100/8 = 12.5 ton<br />

○ Increament untuk menurunkan beban<br />

ton<br />

= 100/4 = 425<br />

○ Berat pemberat (kentledge) = 100 + 20%<br />

= 120 ton


PROCEDURES<br />

1 st Cycle – up to Working <strong>Load</strong><br />

25% of working load for each increment<br />

Maintained minimum 2 hours at each increment<br />

Maintained 24 hours at Working <strong>Load</strong>.<br />

Reading is taken at 15 minutes interval<br />

Reading of pile settlement is taken before and<br />

after increment<br />

Unloading at 4 equal stages @ 1 hour interval.


PROCEDURES<br />

2 nd Cycle – up to Twice Working <strong>Load</strong><br />

25% of working load for each increment<br />

Up to 2 x working load (8 increments)<br />

Maintained minimum 2 hours at each increment ATAU<br />

rate of settlement 0.05mm in 15 minutes is reached.<br />

Maintained 24 hours at 2 times Working <strong>Load</strong>.<br />

Reading is taken at 15 minutes interval<br />

Reading of pile settlement is taken before and after<br />

increment<br />

Unloading at 4 equal stages @ 1 hour interval.<br />

Wait 1 hour after zero load to record residual settlement<br />

Plot load/time graph and load settlement graph.
