implants.<br />
Inflammation around implants is harder to see<br />
clinically.<br />
Bleeding indicates that some form of<br />
interceptive treatment is required.<br />
Becker et al found that at five year recall of all implant<br />
patients, 80% presented with bleeding on probing.<br />
Up to 40% of these cases presented with some<br />
degree of peri-implantitis.
