WHEEL CLEANER
Modèle WHEEL CLEANER
BACHRUS
Every model railroader who has operated a locomotive has discovered the importance of keeping the track clean. Really clean!
12/2006
But have you ever considered where the dirt on your track could be coming from? Or how it is spread? You may have cleaned your track, but
have you cleaned your wheels? All your wheels?
Think about it.
Your local pulls out of the yard with 9 freight cars and 1 van (caboose) trailing your GP-7. Out of a total of 44 wheels sets, you probably have
cleaned only 4 of them. The 4 on your Geep. What about the other 40 wheel sets?
Do you operate steam locomotives? When was the last time you cleaned the wheels on the lead and trailing trucks? The wheels on the tender
pick up power and DCC signals for smooth locomotive operation. But have you cleaned them?
Bachrus has now created an easy method of cleaning the wheels on ALL your non-powered axles. A motorized cleaner that operates on
12V-DC or 12v-AC for scales Z to G. Designed with an automatic shut-off, thermal overload protector and can be used with most model train
cleaning agents. And all this fits in a small 7" x 3" x 1-1/4" box.
Due for release January/February 2007.
The Wheel Cleaner by Bachrus Inc. We think that everyone should have a WC close by.
Prototype illustrated. Final product will incorporate upgrades. Truck removal is not required for full cleaning.
