4 Document detection light emitting PWB Emits light for detection of the document size.<br />

5 LCD INV PWB Emits the document size detection LED lights.<br />

6 USB connector PWB For USB connecting<br />

The operation panel is composed of the MFP OPE PWB, the LCD<br />

INV PWB, the LVDS PWB, the USB CN PWB, the LCD unit, and<br />

the operation key, and is used to operation the machine, to set and<br />

to display the status.<br />

They are connected with the document detection light receiving<br />

PWB for detection of the document size. They receive light from the<br />

document detection light emitting PWB attached to the rear frame<br />

side, detecting the document size.<br />

The power switch of the operation panel outputs the ON/OFF control<br />

signal of the DC power.<br />

The USB connecter can be connected with the USB memory, the<br />

USB keyboard, the IC card writer, the IC card reader, and the USB<br />

hub, sending the electronic data to the mother PWB.<br />

The <strong>MX</strong>-<strong>4100N</strong> and the <strong>MX</strong>-<strong>4101N</strong> are provided with the keyboard<br />

(standard for North America, option for other than North America)<br />

under the operation panel unit, allowing text input.<br />

Parts<br />

1) Remove the operation panel base plate.<br />

2) Remove the screw, and disconnect four connectors.<br />

*1: Since the lead wire is provided with the lock, do not pull the<br />

lead wire.<br />

Hold the connector and pull it out.<br />

*2: Note that the lock is on the back surface.<br />

*3: When disconnecting the connector, pull the lead wire<br />

slowly.<br />

*4: Disconnect the connector from the Mylar.<br />
