<strong>Analysis</strong> of trajectories<br />

• To obtain averages, distributions, time-dependencies<br />

(correlation functions)<br />

• Several modules/commands can directly access trajectories<br />

(coordinates or velocities), eg CORREL and NMR<br />

Trajectory specification:<br />

first n nunit k begin m1 skip m2 stop m3<br />

Access k unformatted files on units n to n+k-1. Extract every<br />

m2:th coordinate set between m1 and m3. m1, m2, m3 are<br />

specified as integration step numbers from the start of the<br />

whole simulation.<br />

Compute average structure and RMS fluctuations (in WMAIN):<br />

open read unform unit 51 name myfile_4.trj<br />

open read unform unit 52 name myfile_5.trj<br />

coor dyna first 51 nunit 2 begin 2500 skip 50 stop 5000<br />
