Sitkovetsky): Goldberg Variations • 15 Sinfonias Dmitry Sitkovetsky first wrote his transcriptions for Bach’s Goldberg Variations in 1984, and revisited them in 2009 for this beautiful recording. He injects a fresh, youthful energy to propel these pieces from beginning to end. J.S. Bach himself said that the spirit of the piece is meant “for the enjoyment of music lovers,” and this recording is a perfect example.
