In 1903 it merged with the Cie des tramways electriques de Hanoi, taking this name in 1929. The company not only operated the city's tramways but provided lighting for the Governor's palace. Ceased its activities in 1955, with the government agreeing to pay annual indemnities, but the North Vietnam government stopped the indemnities, and the company was dissolved in 1962. 1929 EF EUR 30 IRAN (PERSIA) 848 C.D.F.
