A Mercedes-Benz? I never would have dreamed it was possible to
get one simply by doing something I love! My Arbonne business has
not only made it a reality, but has given me so much more than I
ever expected. It provided me with personal growth, new friends, a
deeper faith and the potential to make all of our dreams come true.
In the fall of 2004, I had almost everything I ever dreamed about. I
was happily married to Cory, my husband of 18 months, and we
had just bought our first home together. I was so excited about the
opportunity to run 170 cows and own 160 acres of farmland. Our
hopes and dreams, however, always came down to getting the
banker’s approval. We struggled to make ends meet because of our
lifestyle. I also struggled to adapt to my new community, even after
18 months. Idalia is a very small, close-knit community where job
opportunities are scarce.
In August, my sponsor, ERVP Amy Crouse, asked me what skin care
products I was using. She had just started a home-based business
with a skin care company called Arbonne. Meanwhile, I was
searching for a part-time job to provide some extra income through
the winter. Over the next several months, I became intrigued by
Amy’s business. We met again in December and I decided to start
my own Arbonne business. My first goal was to replace my existing
income of $500 a month. A short time later, I saw the big picture!
Arbonne had much more to offer than great products and a parttime
career, but it was up to me to take responsibility for my own
business and make it happen.

Although my Arbonne business had plenty of potential, I had to
“work it” by myself. It became increasingly clear to me that if I was
going to make my business a success, I was going to have to share
Arbonne with everyone. I had to look for the positives every day in
my business, no matter how many negative circumstances I had to
live through, to remove the option to quit.
I duplicated everything Amy taught me. Success comes to those who
are coachable. Even though the results are not immediate, keep
pushing through. We have to be grateful for even our down days,
