THE NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER PROMOTES<br />

KAREN KENNEDY FINK, STEFAN FRANK, AND VINCE STANGO<br />

PHILADELPHIA, PA (February 26, 2007) – The National Constitution Center is pleased to<br />

announce <strong>the</strong> promotion of Karen Kennedy Fink to Human Resources and Volunteer Manager,<br />

Stefan Frank to Director of National Programs, and Vince Stango to Vice President of Human<br />

Resources and Administration.<br />

As Human Resources and Volunteer Manager, Karen Kennedy Fink will manage <strong>the</strong> Center’s<br />

volunteer and intern programs and will oversee <strong>the</strong> day-to-day management of all Human<br />

Resources activities.<br />

Karen Kennedy Fink began working at <strong>the</strong> Center in 2005 as <strong>the</strong> Human Resources and Volunteer<br />

Coordinator. She built <strong>the</strong> volunteer program from <strong>the</strong> ground up, and it has now grown to over one<br />

hundred participants. Fink is also responsible for <strong>the</strong> Center’s internship program and assists with<br />

Human Resource functions such as benefits, administration, recruiting, and new staff orientations.<br />

Fink received her Associates Degree in Specialized Technology from Philadelphia Restaurant<br />

School. She also recently passed a certification course to become a Certified Volunteer<br />

Administrator. She currently resides in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.<br />

As Director of National Programs, Stefan Frank will be responsible for developing and<br />

implementing innovative program series for adults, members, and people with an interest in <strong>the</strong><br />

Constitution and civic engagement.<br />

Stefan Frank began his career with <strong>the</strong> National Constitution Center in 2006 as Programs<br />

Manager. Before joining <strong>the</strong> Center, Frank worked for <strong>the</strong> Annenberg Public Policy Center.<br />

There, he assisted in <strong>the</strong> production of <strong>the</strong> weekly National Public Radio Program, Justice<br />

Talking and “Justice Learning,” an online resource to engage high school students in informed<br />

political discourse. He also spent time in Los Angeles, where he helped develop and produce<br />

feature films, documentaries, and episodic television.<br />

Frank received his MLA from The University of Pennsylvania and his BFA in Film Studies from<br />

Syracuse University. He currently resides in South Philadelphia.<br />

In his new position as <strong>the</strong> Vice President of Human Resources and Administration, Vince<br />

Stango will be responsible for <strong>the</strong> oversight and management of <strong>the</strong> Human Resources and<br />

Administration division, including <strong>the</strong> Human Resources, Operations, Security, and Technology<br />

departments.<br />

Stango has worked his entire professional career at <strong>the</strong> Center. When he began seven and half<br />

years ago, he served as Executive Assistant to President and CEO Joseph M. Torsella. He was<br />

<strong>the</strong>n promoted to Special Projects Coordinator in 2001, and since 2002, worked in Human<br />

Resources, first as Administrator and <strong>the</strong>n Manager, and most recently as Director.<br />

Stango received a Master of Science degree in public administration from Villanova University<br />

and his undergraduate degree from Moravian College. He is currently pursuing a Master of<br />

Science degree in human resource development from Villanova University. He resides in<br />

Haddon Heights, New Jersey, with his wife Megan and son, Vincent.<br />

The National Constitution Center, located at 525 Arch St. on Philadelphia’s Independence Mall,<br />

is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing public<br />

understanding of <strong>the</strong> U.S. Constitution and <strong>the</strong> ideas and values it represents. Opened on July<br />

4, 2003, <strong>the</strong> Constitution Center is a museum, an education <strong>center</strong>, and a forum for debate on<br />

<strong>constitution</strong>al issues. The museum dramatically tells <strong>the</strong> story of <strong>the</strong> Constitution from<br />

Revolutionary times to <strong>the</strong> present through more than 100 interactive, multimedia exhibits, film,<br />

photographs, text, sculpture and artifacts, and features a powerful, award-winning <strong>the</strong>atrical<br />

performance, “Freedom Rising”. The Center also houses <strong>the</strong> Annenberg Center for Education<br />

and Outreach, which serves as <strong>the</strong> hub for <strong>national</strong> <strong>constitution</strong>al education. Also, serving as a<br />

nonpartisan forum for <strong>constitution</strong>al discourse, <strong>the</strong> Center presents – without endorsement –<br />

programs that contain diverse viewpoints on a broad range of issues. The National Constitution<br />

Center’s programs earned <strong>the</strong> organization a 2006 Best of Philly® award from Philadelphia<br />
