The tape is intended to be used in an interactive manner—a portion <strong>of</strong> the video is viewed<br />

using the tape in this fashion are included. There is a skit at the beginning <strong>of</strong> the tape to<br />

introduce the topic <strong>of</strong> portfolios and interviews with students and a teacher at the end <strong>of</strong> the<br />

student self-reflection, discuss composite portfolios, review development considerations, and<br />

discuss issues related to the use <strong>of</strong> portfolios as assessment tools.<br />
