“O wayfarer, is the path worth traveling if it has no thorn? When the flow is not adverse, in
hat is the use of testing the patience of the boatman.’’
The above lines squarely describe our activities where aspires for awn interests and speedy
gain, Where politics is based on sects and castes and leaders seek their own benefits, the task of
fulfilling the objectives of the projects launched by the organization seems quite uphill. Despite this the
colleagues of the organization have made a laudatory effort to translate into concrete reality the
guidelines provided by the donor authorities.
Nehru Yuva Sangthan, Tisi is actively engaged with the all-round development of the rural and
urban people for the past 18 years. From time to time the full hearted support from the local community,
block development district, state and national level authorities is forthcoming. This has led the
organization a special much for itself in the district and state even as a rural oriented organization the
role of national and international donors has been extremely significant in translating the objective of
the organization into concrete reality. From time to time the guidance of their representatives has
proved to be like milestones.
PATH and CARE India through their Sure Start Project have lent momentous support to the
organization’s intervention in bringing about permanent improvement in the complete health of the
newly born babies and pregnant women, behavioral change and enabling the community to have an
access to quality health services. While PACS programme and Uttar Pradesh Health system
Development project’s innovative health programme helped in great measure, CASA’s support enable
us to work for all round community development and mainstreaming the marginalized section in the
matter of employment oriented activities. On the one hand Ministry of Labour, Government of India and
Sarve Shiksha Abhiyan supported in the promotion of child right and mainstreaming education of child
labour, Oxfam India’s Aroh campaign and PACS of DFID enabled us to launch an effective and
inspiring awareness programme creating commotion in both the community and the administrative
circle. Similarly support from Ministry of Environment & Forest, Government of India coupled with the
common man have strengthened our endeavour of environment conservation, promoting and Ganga
Pollution Eradication programme.
Support in the above manner by our colleagues, guides, thinkers, and workers, The
organization is confident to accomplish the goal of happiness, prosperity and peace by continuing to
motivate the disadvantage and the deprived people to lead a dignified life. Looking forword to your
trust, cooperation and affection.
