Comparing Lok Sabha 2004 and Lok Sabha 2009 it can be<br />
clearly seen in the graph given below that there has been<br />
a reduction in violent crimes, crimes related to robbery,<br />
extortion and theft. Overall, the number of total serious<br />
IPC sections against MPs has decreased from 296 in Lok<br />
Sabha 2004 to 274 in Lok Sabha 2009.<br />
