Outgoing memoranda and corresp<strong>on</strong>dence 1968-1995, bulk 1979-1995<br />

This subseries is comprised of copies of <str<strong>on</strong>g>Liddie</str<strong>on</strong>g>’s outgoing memorandum with any<br />

referenced documentati<strong>on</strong> included. There is a small amount of incoming<br />

memoranda and incoming and outgoing corresp<strong>on</strong>dence interfiled. This<br />

subseries covers all <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>pics under <str<strong>on</strong>g>Liddie</str<strong>on</strong>g>’s resp<strong>on</strong>sibility including budget,<br />

producti<strong>on</strong>, civic involvement, health and safety, travel, expenses, performance,<br />

incentives, pers<strong>on</strong>al objectives, sales, facilities, benefits, compensati<strong>on</strong>,<br />

headcount, committees, and management philosophy. Types of material filed<br />

with <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> memoranda include operati<strong>on</strong>s summaries, status reports, meeting<br />

agendas and committee minutes. <str<strong>on</strong>g>Liddie</str<strong>on</strong>g> called this subseries of records<br />

“chr<strong>on</strong>ological files.” This subseries is arranged chr<strong>on</strong>ologically.<br />

Corporate subject files 1963-2006, bulk 1965-1999<br />

This subseries includes incoming memoranda and corresp<strong>on</strong>dence, internal<br />

reports, clippings, invitati<strong>on</strong>s, and organizati<strong>on</strong>al charts. All of <str<strong>on</strong>g>Liddie</str<strong>on</strong>g>’s subject<br />

files dated prior <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> 1978 that were s<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>red in off-site record s<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>rage were<br />

destroyed as part of <strong>Signetics</strong>’ records management program. O<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r subject files<br />

s<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>red off-site that were destroyed include compensati<strong>on</strong> files,<br />

telecommunicati<strong>on</strong> 1975-1983, Corporate Informati<strong>on</strong> Systems 1979-1987,<br />

Golden Gate Working Committee, Presentati<strong>on</strong>s 1979-1983, Corporate Services<br />

1976-1980, Industrial Relati<strong>on</strong>s 1976-1980 and ORDAP. <str<strong>on</strong>g>Liddie</str<strong>on</strong>g> had an<br />

alphabetical arrangement <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> his subject files while in use, but due <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
