Harris County is the nation’s third most populous
county with over 4 million residents. More than 1
million of those people live within the 464 square
miles of Precinct 3—one of the fastest growing
and most diverse areas in the region.
Delivering a high quality of life to Precinct 3
residents is our number one priority. We’ve
kept pace with our incredible growth by
continually improving Precinct 3’s infrastructure,
participating in regional transportation initiatives
aimed at better mobility and enhancing the
quality of life through the development of parks,
an environmentally friendly network of hikeand-bike
trails and nationally recognized senior
education programs.
With a population base of more than 650,000, Cy-
Fair is tucked neatly in the northwest quadrant of
Houston encompassing 186 square miles.
The area offers a business-friendly commercial
environment with accessible thoroughfares for
emerging or relocating companies. Approximately
7,500 companies including several Fortune 500
corporations are thriving in Cy-Fair. If your
organization is seeking an office, industrial or retail
space, we can assist you with your search.
At the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber, it is our mission
to foster economic development while keeping
our local roots strong. Joined by mutual goals
and purpose, our members are the common
denominator of our success.
Russell Hamley
Jersey Village mayor
As Commissioner of Harris County Precinct 4, I
welcome you and your family to one of the fastest
growing areas of Northwest Harris County, which
is the third largest county in the United States.
You are joining over 1 million people who have
chosen to live, work and play in a precinct that is
home to over 3,000 miles of roads and 2,600 acres
of pristine parkland.
I look forward to the continued growth and future
of Precinct 4 and the ability to offer residents a
quality place to live.
Sales tax collection projected for
fiscal year 2010–11: $2,400,000
City limits: 3.58 square miles
ETJ: 1.065 square miles
When my young family was looking for a new
home in the suburbs of Houston, we found few
communities offer the amenities of Jersey Village.
There are many advantages of being in control
of your elected officials and city services. Your
own police and fire departments are seconds away,
water services are well managed and parks are
around the corner.
It has been my pleasure to give back to the
community, and I hope to meet you.
